Jason M. Johnson

Brownwood Texas Lawyer, Jason M. Johnson attended Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas where he earned a degree in finance, graduating summa cum laude, in the top 5% of his class.

Following his gradation from Texas Tech, Jason enrolled in South Texas College of Law in Houston.  While in law school, Jason was selected to participate in the nationally recognized South Texas College of Law advocacy program, which has compiled in excess of 100 national championships.  Through his involvement in this program, Jason competed throughout the country in a number of moot court competitions with his teams winning awards for briefing and best speaker.

In 2001, Jason returned to central Texas where he opened his own practice.  Jason represents clients in courtrooms all across Texas in a wide range of legal areas including personal injury, criminal law, civil ligation, real estate, estate planning and probate. Jason remains passionate about fighting for the rights of his clients and concentrates his practice in Central Texas in Brown County, Comanche County, McCulloch County, Coleman County, Eastland County, Mills County and Erath County, including the cities of Brownwood, Early, Bangs, Brady, Coleman, Eastland, Goldthwaite, Comanche, De Leon, Stephenville and Dublin.

Jason is a member of a number of legal and social organizations with some of those including the State Bar of Texas, Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, American Bar Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the Masonic Lodge.

Jason is also a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas which is an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained attorneys in Texas.

In September of 2012, Jason was one of roughly 50 lawyers selected from a nationwide pool of applicants to attend Gerry Spence’s Trial Lawyers College in Dubois, Wyoming. The Trial Lawyers College is dedicated to training a new generation of people’s trial lawyers and is considered the most prestigious and selective trial advocacy program in the country.
